The first is Jonathan’s 3x great Aunt, Ann Sewell. She was born in Little Walsingham, Norfolk in 1806. She moved to Marylebone and became a nanny. In 1853 she left England for Utah, dodging Commaches on the way. She married James Richard Aucock/ Hawkins (below) and died in 1890.
James Richard Aucock came from Surrey and changed his name to Hawkins after acquiring a cheese factory from James Joseph Hawkins.
