Edward SOLE (1798-1890) of Woodnesborough, Kent

Edward SOLE (1798-1890) of Woodnesborough, Kent who was born in Herne. This photo has been in Lionel's family for many years and is believed to be Edward taken in 1860 although he looks a very young 62 year old. He married Rose Hannah (Rosanna) DRAYSON in 1823 and they had 11 children, the youngest of whom was Henry and he heads Lionel's branch of the family. Edward was an agricultural labourer but described himself as a gardener in 1864. He and Rosanna died within a week of each other in December 1890.

Rose Hannah (or Rosanna) SOLE nee DRAYSON (1886-1890) was born in Woodnesborough, the wife of Edward SOLE whom she married in 1823.
