Following on from my last article “Eureka” I can confirm the link to Leamington has been confirmed by accounts from new found family members and known members and the existence of a photo recently found by another family member in Australia.
Albert and Edward were still living in Leamington as shown on the1911 census, so their move to Bebington was somewhere between the 1911 census being taken and Albert marrying May Kershaw in 1914. So far I do not know where she was from. I am waiting to talk to another new found family, who at the time of writing this, coincidently is in Australia. She may have some more details of the early Saul families in Bebington.
Just last week I got round to updating my family tree on Genes Reunited and as a result I now have a good lead on the family from Ernest Henry Saul who also moved to Bebington, and married Helena Dark in 1916. I think Helena was from Wroxhall just outside Leamington. If this lead turns out well, I will be able to add a considerable amount of information on the Leamington Sauls and to my tree and then be able to put some time into researching other family lines.
