Ann Sewell, born in Little Walsingham, Norfolk in 1806

The first is Jonathan's 3x great Aunt, Ann Sewell. She was born in Little Walsingham, Norfolk in 1806. She moved to Marylebone and became a nanny. In 1853 she left England for Utah, dodging Commaches on the way. She married James Richard Aucock/ Hawkins (below) and died in 1890.

 

James Richard Aucock came from Surrey and changed his name to Hawkins after acquiring a cheese factory from James Joseph Hawkins.
