First World War Casualties

These cuttings were taken from a local newspaper, The Royston Crow of North Hertfordshire, which published photographs and details of First World War casualties. Private Jonah SOLE was the son of George and Amelia SOLE of Eyeworth, Bedfordshire, UK. Private Edmund SOLE was one of the Kelshall, UK, family.

Don F Sole is a member of the Sole Society and is a member of this family line. Don is also acquainted with F. Leslie Parrish, formerly of Guilden Morden, Cambridgeshire, England, now residing in a suburb of Toronto, Canada, whose family relative, Arthur J. Tebbit, married Jonah's widow, Grace Sole nee Geeves.  They emigrated to Australia.
