I have stumbled upon an interesting little article in the 1900 News of the World concerning the love life of Miss Minetta SEWELL.
Given the clues in the article I have tried to find Minetta (b abt 1867) but so far can't find anything at all. Another member may have more luck and maybe and enjoy the challenge! Diana doesn't have any info on her but is checking.
I have managed to locate Mr. Charles Henry Strange from Tunbridge Wells and his marriage to Maud Beatrice Hunt in 1895. Poor Maud seems to have had a short life, born in 1875, married aged 20 in 1895 and died 1898.
Mr. Strange appears in the 1871 and 1881 census in Tunbridge Wells but I can't find him after this. In a way, a sad little tale from Minetta's point of view. An intriguing report - I wonder what became of them?
