In his Will John Saul is described as a Gentleman. He left land at Fishtoft to his grandson John Saul (son of John Saul and Mary Pocklington), land at Sibsey, Stickney and Freiston and residue estate to grandson William Saul (son of Benjamin Kelsey Saul). His daughters Lucy (wife of George Bryon) and Elizabeth (wife of William Cook) both recieved £1000 each and his grandson William Saul (son of John Saul) received £600. Daughter Hannah is not mentioned in the Will as she had died in 1807 and presumably left no issue.
